Uneven Foam Board Thickness

Uneven thickness is a common problem in the production of XPS, EPS, and PET foam boards. We offer corresponding solutions for different causes:

1. Inconsistent spacing between upper and lower molds: Adjust the screws on the upper and lower mold openings. For thicker boards, tighten the screws at the corresponding mold positions; for thinner boards, loosen the screws at the corresponding mold positions.

2. Melting temperature issues: The higher the temperature, the more severe the indentation in the center of the board. The temperature of the No. 2 extruder can be lowered by 3°C to 5°C in batches.

3.Adjust the temperature difference between the two sides of the mold.
