Foam Core Depression in Sheet Materials

Foam core depression is a common problem in the production of XPS, EPS, and PET extruded sheets. We offer the following solutions for different causes:

1. Melt temperature is too low: Increase the material temperature and the temperature of the main extruder (single screw).

2. The mold structure is not suitable for producing sheets of this thickness: Replace the mold and select a more suitable flow channel.

3.Mold temperature is too low: Gradually increase the mold temperature in increments of 3℃ to 5℃ each time.
